Hadoken! Street Fighter 4 Announced

RyuCapcom has announced Street Fighter 4 is now in development. Currently, details about the first next-generation SF game are not being released. I myself am a huge SF fan and will be looking forward to this title when it releases sometime next year. Some initial questions I have are:

  • will there be online 1 on 1 battles?
  • how many characters will there be?

I also wonder what features Capcom may throw in to allow SF to compete with other next-gen fighting games, although SF is in a league of its own and should have no problem selling copies with its enormous fan base.

  1. Looks great. I can’t wait!!!

  2. I love that it’s SF4 while there’s been close to 100 other Street Fighters out since 3 (and yes that is an actual count…haha) Hopefully Capcom pulls out all the stops with this game, as it should be a big deal that this SF has a number with it.

  3. I think I like Street Fighter Alpha 3 the best of all of the Street Fighters that I’ve played extensively. Admittedly I didn’t get in much time with Street Fighter 3: Third Strike though.
