It’s an Emergency Mayhem
Shipping this week for the Wii, Emergency Mayhem is a non-serious take on handling a multitude of emergencies throughout “Crisis City”. Whether in the cop car, fire truck or ambulance, players can barrel their way through the city to make it to a variety of emergencies. Definitely Crazy Taxi with a life or death twist. The Wiimote motions come into play during the mini games which include practicing CPR or putting out fires with a water hose.
As a huge fan of Crazy Taxi this definitely caught my attention as a fun game to try out, though I have some initial questions – can you create more emergencies by running everything over when trying to get to your missions? That’d be pretty awesome although I’m sure that’s not the case. And with an “E” ESRB rating you probably can’t create gruesome deaths either, by let’s say letting someone jump from a burning building and mis-positioning the trampoline/net on purpose. Or letting someone choke to death because you didn’t give them CPR. Yes, I am a bit twisted but I’m just trying to get my mind prepared for GTA IV – even if it’s by playing this game and destroying a whole city block to try to save some lives.
Look for an EDG review of Emergency Mayhem for the Wii soon!
